Nothing is as it seems in Kilmore Cove. The listener is immediately engaged when taken into the narrator's confidence and told of mysterious events there. Well-developed characters are brought to life by Michael Page, who delivers an enjoyable and exciting performance of this suspenseful story. Page's narration keeps the listener guessing by giving no clues as to whom to trust in this interesting puzzle involving doors that let one travel through time. Although not necessary, listeners might benefit from familiarity with the previous book in the Ulysses Moore series as references are made to past adventures, and it would give insight into the characters' personalities.
